A busy Level II Trauma Hospital in Western Nebraska is seeking an experienced Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy professional to be a Director of Rehab Services. The Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist that assumes this position will oversee inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation departments. The Director of Rehabilitation will report to the Executive Director of Ancillary Services. The patient services offered in this comprehensive rehab department include:
Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy. The licensed therapists and physical therapist aides work in a variety of environments and provide patient-centered care. This acute care hospital has an acute rehab unit and a newly updated outpatient therapy center. In addition, the Rehab Services Director will have the support of a comprehensive Pain Management program that is well-recognized in Western Nebraska. The Acute Rehabilitation Services Director will use their background as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to ensure the staff PTs, OTs, and SLPs are practicing in their scope of work. Together, the allied health professionals produce high quality patient outcomes and are proud of the meaningful work they provide to the community. This hospital system is the go-to resource for patients in the greater Sydney, NE area. This hospital system has a 100 bed acute care hospital, 25 Bed Critical Access Hospital, outpatient clinics, an Assistant Living Facility and is affiliated with other rural hospitals in Nebraska to provide care where patients live as conveniently as possible. In addition to being a mentor and leader for the therapy department, the Rehab Services Director will:
develop and monitor the annual budget for all rehabilitation cost centers, be responsible Quality and Performance Improvement activities, respond to customer complaints in a timely manner, while completing thorough investigation of any complaints and corrective action necessary and ensure departmental compliance with regulatory agencies.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Healthcare ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
